On the morning of 6 July 2026 in Hanoi, Transport Engineering Consultant Investment No 1 - Joint Stock Company (TECCO1) welcomed a delegation from DB Engineering & Consulting (DB E&C), led by Mr. Milind Nirmal, Executive Director for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, to discuss potential cooperation in Vietnam's high-speed rail and urban railway sectors.
Representing TECCO1 at the meeting were Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, Chief Technology Officer (CTO), together with the Company's managers and technical experts.
During the meeting, the two parties introduced their respective capabilities and experience while exchanging views on the future development of Vietnam's railway system. As Vietnam accelerates investment in the North–South High-Speed Railway and urban rail transit networks in its major cities, both sides agreed that closer collaboration between domestic consulting firms and experienced international partners is essential to successfully deliver these strategic infrastructure projects.
Representatives of DB Engineering & Consulting shared their extensive international experience in delivering railway projects worldwide, particularly in depot design and design review, signalling and telecommunications systems, railway electrification, operations and maintenance, and technical consultancy services for high-speed railways, urban rail transit, and conventional railways. Leveraging its global network of experts and proven track record in large-scale railway projects, DB E&C expressed its interest in partnering with TECCO1 to combine the strengths of both organizations in providing high-quality consulting services for Vietnam's railway market.
For its part, TECCO1 presented its expertise and experience in transport infrastructure consultancy, with particular strengths in high-speed railway and urban railway projects. The Company also shared its vision of becoming one of Vietnam's leading railway engineering consulting firms. TECCO1 is actively expanding its cooperation with international partners to access advanced technologies, enhance its technical capabilities, and meet the demanding requirements of modern railway projects.
The meeting was conducted in an open and constructive atmosphere. Both parties agreed to maintain close communication and further explore concrete cooperation opportunities by leveraging their respective expertise and experience, with the shared objective of participating in the implementation of Vietnam's key railway projects in the years ahead.
