On 30 June 2026, Component Project No. 1 of the road connecting Ma Da Bridge to Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road No. 4 officially commenced construction. The project is a key transportation infrastructure development in Vietnam's Southeastern region, creating a strategic transport corridor linking Dong Nai Province with the former Binh Phuoc area and the Central Highlands, while enhancing connectivity to Long Thanh International Airport, the Cai Mep–Thi Vai deep-water port complex, and the national transportation network.
A distinctive feature of the project is the approximately 13-kilometre elevated viaduct traversing the Dong Nai Nature and Cultural Reserve. The viaduct is designed with a height ranging from 9 to 12 metres, depending on topographical conditions. The roadway comprises eight traffic lanes, is designed for an operating speed of 80 km/h, features an asphalt concrete pavement, and includes three grade-separated interchanges connecting to existing roads and historical heritage sites within the reserve.
To ensure a balanced approach between infrastructure development and environmental conservation, the project incorporates a series of advanced engineering solutions. These include the elevated viaduct structure to minimize habitat fragmentation for wildlife, a 4-metre-high noise and light barrier installed along the entire alignment to reduce disturbances to the ecosystem, a solar-powered intelligent lighting system capable of automatically adjusting illumination levels according to traffic volumes, and a 45-metre observation tower dedicated to forest fire monitoring and biodiversity surveillance.

Within this landmark project, TECCO1 is responsible for several core engineering consultancy services, including:
- Structural design of the precast segmental bridge and viaduct system;
- Design of the precast concrete segment casting yard;
- Development of construction methodologies for segment casting, transportation and erection;
- Technology transfer for precast segment production and viaduct erection.

The project adopts Precast Segmental Bridge technology, whereby structural segments are manufactured under factory-controlled conditions with high dimensional accuracy before being transported to site for installation. Compared with conventional cast-in-place bridge construction, this solution significantly shortens construction time, reduces on-site activities, minimizes environmental impacts and carbon emissions, and enhances the quality, durability, and service life of the structure. Today, precast segmental technology has become a widely adopted solution for expressways, metro systems, and high-speed railway projects around the world.
The Ma Da Bridge Project constitutes the first component of the 44.5-kilometre corridor connecting Ma Da Bridge to Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road No. 4, with an estimated total investment of approximately VND 28.8 trillion. Scheduled for completion during 2026–2028, the project will establish a new strategic transport corridor, promoting socio-economic development, logistics, and regional connectivity between Southeastern Vietnam and the Central Highlands.
