The route has 4 intersections including Binh Dan intersection at Dai Xuyen commune, Van Don district, Mui Chua intersection at Tien Lang commune, Tien Yen district, Dam Ha intersection at Duc Yen commune, Dam Ha district, and Hai Ha intersection at Quang Son commune, Hai Ha district. The end of the route connects with Provincial Road 335, Bac Luan II Bridge approach road at Hai Hoa ward, Mong Cai city.

The route put into use synchronously connects, modern, interoperable, overall with the expressway Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong - Ha Long - Van Don - Mong Cai, forming the longest expressway in Vietnam (nearly 600km).
